Not all environments accept all values, so the types you see in the editor are the ones that travel cleanly from Figma plugins to CSS to agents without quiet data loss.

Great question. By nature, agents are non-deterministic. Which is a fancy way of saying results may vary. They can vary by model, provider, token degradation, and many other factors. It is best to view them as the ingredients of a design, not a fully baked one.

Yes. Figma has no built-in token import, so Platform exports DTCG (the format variable plugins read). Use Export to Figma from a project, then import that file with a variables plugin. Docs cover the round trip in more detail under The Figma round trip.

Yes. Invite them by the email they will register with. The project shows up in their workspace once they join, with the role you chose.

The project becomes readable by anyone, with or without an account. Your display name is shown as the author. Your email is never published. You can unpublish at any time.
